Grimsby Sky at Night

This is the nightsky from Grimsby, Ontario, with 3 major cities within 30 to 50 km (20-30 miles) away. It's in the orange zone on the light pollution map where the milkyway is somewhat hard to see even when it's overhead. I was here shooting the stars with +JW Vraets and +Darryl Van Gaal . Originally we wanted to catch some stars with waterfalls but that mission didn't work out as planned so we headed to this open area nearby. It's no where near as dark here as the places where people love to shoot the milkyway but sometimes you just have to make the best of what you have around you. This is a single 33 second exposure @17mm with the Canon 6d with processing in LR and PS.
